Flight

Flight

We arrived to my sweet and beautiful cousin Junia waiting for us at the airport.  No delays or troubles flying which is amazing considering we traveled with a 10 month old who wants nothing more than to crawl and walk during all awake times.

Jake and I have decided (based on our one trans-continent flight experience) that we just need to always travel with an infant.  Because of Caroline's free bassinet, provided by Emirates, we had tons of leg room.  The flight attendants were super helpful! We got tons of exercise walking with Caroline up and down the isles.  She stayed sleeping for long periods of time since the low constant drum of the airplane was a soothing white noise.  While we were busy entertaining her, getting things out, putting things away, we got in total about 3 hours of sleep between the two of us.  Still they were stress free and sweet so we enjoyed it though we became exhausted.

Should we travel again, we will go via Emirates!

The transition in Dubai went well.  We had a longer layover than we thought and spent most of our time drinking Coffee in order to stay awake in order to keep up with little C.Si.

We arrived at 8pm getting home at around 10:30pm and went to sleep.  Much needed at that point and so glad to be at our destination.  The weather here is cool in the 60s and 70s with drizzle.  I've needed sweaters though my dad and Jake are enjoying the cool in shorts and Ts.

Home on this side of the globe and ready for what it holds.
